He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike and Helen; and his brother Gerald (Helen Rients). He is survived by: his wife Mary Mosbacher; his children, Michelle Dziemer, James (Jennifer), John (Dina) and Paul; his grandchildren, Michaela (Nick), Sophia (Tanner), Remi (Genevieve), Gianna, Gavriel, Mehragen, Rhys, Beckett, Jillian (Matt), Emmett, Bella and Wyatt; his sisters, Alice Wright (Craig) and Judy Swanson; Rev. Luther Bajus.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Woodbury Lutheran Church (7380 Afton Rd, Woodbury, MN 55125). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
