He was predeceased by: his significant other Diane Hanson; and his parents, Verdell and Gail. He is survived by: his children, Mary and DJ (John Sideris); and his grandchildren, Paige, Blake, Isaac and Asher.
His career was capped off with him leading the 3m Foundation where his good work resulted in him becoming "Citizen of the Year.".
