He was predeceased by : his wife Elizabeth "Bette" Pilger; his parents, Ervin Pilger and Ida Pilger (Halphaus); his parents-in-law, Albert Haider Sr. and Marion Haider (Steigauf); his sister Sally; his brother-in-law Red Houle; his brother John Pilger; his brother-in-law Albert HaiderJr; and his nephew Steve Houle.
He is survived by : his children, Deb Werner (Dave) and Tom Pilger (Becky); his grandchildren, Madison (Spencer), Morgan, Mackenzie, Jack and Kayla; and his siblings-in-law, Abigail "Gail" Pilger, Karen, Jim Winters, Ginny Haider, Mary Jo and Craig Brownell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; many cousins and loving friends.
