She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Simone; her parents, Henry Sandkamp and Eleanor Sandkamp; and her siblings, Virgil, Leo, Werner Bernie, Alan Gene, Marcia Ell, Carol Devereaux, Helen Jansen and Norma Koenigs.
She is survived by: her children, Mark (Mary), Marie Schmelz (Stephen), Gary (Wendy), Sharon Bruno (Mark), Paul (Andre), Lisa DeVries (Tim) and Ann Haney (Jim); and her siblings, Mary Jane Pisano (Mike), JoAnn Hinz and John (Pat). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (920 Holley Ave, St Paul Park, MN 55071). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery (920 Holley Ave, St Paul Park, MN 55071). A reception will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (920 Holley Ave, St Paul Park, MN 55071).
