She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Luskey and Louise Luskey; her husband Richard J. Smith; her siblings, Mary, Dorothy, Catherine, Leo, Frank, James, Mark and Fred; and her son-in-law Bruce Stafford.

She is survived by : her brother Fenton Luskey; her children, Donna Smith-Stafford, Dianne Alexander (Gary) and Michael Smith (Nicole); her grandchildren, Melissa Vaughn (Nathan Sr.), Nicholas Borell (Ana Laura Giglio), Brittany Smith (Fiancée' Terry Fahey), Evan Smith, Tricia Burger (Bill), Mandy Schneider (Phil), Samantha Lewis and Sarah Lewis; and her great grandchildren, Nealon Borell, Nash Borell, Nathan Vaughn Jr., Ellery Vaughn, Layla Lou Ann Fahey, Alice Martin, Thomas Martin, Autumn Gesierich (Zach), Albert Gesierich (Chelse), Natalie Schneider and Sean Schneider.
