She is survived by: her husband William Sames; her children, William G. Sames (Margaret Jane Wray), Brigitte (Sames), Kurt Sames (Karoline Nelson) and Christine Sames; her grandchildren, Aria DeWuske, Zach Sames, Kia Feia, Luke Sames, Meade Sames, Lonny Feia, Avery Sames and Aiden Sames; and her siblings, Ruth Schmidt and Gunther Krutzikowsky.
Memorials are preferred to St. John's Lutheran Church in Woodbury.
