It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Eleanor Slebiska of Woodbury, Minnesota, who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Joan farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joan is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Reginald; her parents, Werner Riebe and Florence Riebe; and her siblings, Jean Wohlwend and William Riebe.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Soler (Paul), Sandra Cecka and Renee Werner (Ted); and her grandchildren, David Cecka, Jennifer Giziewski, Daniel Cecka, Nicole Swansson, Abbie Houck and Amanda Werner. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
