She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinder Kooistra and Henrietta Kooistra (Van Drunen); her husband Evert Uit of Flesch; her brothers, Lawrence, Henry and Eldred; her son-in-law Robert Huls; and her great grandchild Nathaniel Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Vernon (Barb), Janet Huls, Donald (Lorinda), Gary (Margaret), Joyce Reed (Alan) and David (Cari). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
