We announce the death of Betty June Berreau (Worthington, Minnesota), who passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 97. Betty will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Casper and Henrietta Casper (Meier); her husband Donald Francis Berreau of Brewster; and her siblings, Eleanor Ebeling, Dorothy Alderson, Ardella Behrends, Mavis Behrends, Marlene Morrison and Samuel Casper.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Berreau (Angela) of Morgan, MN and Jane Collin (Bill) of Arnolds Park, IA; her grandchildren, Hannah Berreau (Curt) of LeSueur, MN, Hans Berreau (Lizzie) of Kilkenny, MN, Emily Nugent (Jared) of Hebron, IN, Elizabeth Collin (Robert) of Hugo, MN, Benjamin Collin (Laura) of Schererville, IN and William Collin (Samantha) of Hartford, SD; her stepgrandchildren, Dr. Hardy Koch (Dajana) of Switzerland and Daniel Jahr (Natasha) of Germany; and her close friend Betty. She is also survived by family, along with her very close neighbors and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Benson Funeral Home (1225 Ryan's Rd, Worthington, MN 56187). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1025 4th Ave, Brewster, MN 56119).
