He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Guimont and Marlene (Wendt). He is survived by: his sons, Grady and Gage; his wife Emily Guimont (Hoogeveen); his sister Susan Pyatt (Wayne) of Blaine, MN; his nephew Ben Pyatt of Blaine; his nieces, Emily Lowther (Ian) of Minneapolis, MN and Maggie Pyatt (Dan) of Blaine; his parents-in-law, Doug and Janis Hoogeveen of Atwater, MN; and his sister-in-law Abby Erickson (Harley).

Donations will be made in Dan's memory to his favorite organizations.
