With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane Darlene Yahnke of Worthington, Minnesota, born in Ellendale, Minnesota, who passed away on August 11, 2022 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alver Wilker and Edythe Wilker (Steele); her husband Dean Yahnke; her daughter Deborah Nickel; her grandson Jeffrey Nickel; her parent-in-law Dagny Yahnke; her sisters, Sandra Ehlert (Red) and Sylvia Chapman (Michael); and her siblings-in-law, Susan Hanson and Dwayne Yahnke.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Schlichte (Dick), Dawn Serbus (Dean), Daniel Yahnke (Wendy) and Douglas Yahnke (Top Chattulani); her son-in-law Jim Nickel; her grandchildren, Trevor Nickel (Erin), Chad Nickel (Sarah), Tina Nickel, Chad Schlichte (Jasmine), Matt Schlichte (Kristina), Erin Schroeder (Josh), Ashley DiMola (Paul), Zachary Serbus, Nathan Yahnke, Kate Yahnke, Tyler Yahnke (Kristin), Christopher Yahnke (Rachel Hanson) and Michael Yahnke; her great grandchildren, Colby, MaKenna, Payton Nickel, Kya, Kory, Riley, Sadie Nickel, Jaden, Spenser, Tayler Nickel, Kylee Schlichte, Tate, Elle, Cora Schlichte, Brooklyn Heckman, Lucas, Raelyn, Adalyn Schroeder, Remy, Jace, Madilyn DiMola, Meredith, Hadley and William Yahnke; her brother Bill Wilker; and her parents-in-law, Donna Pogatchnik, Curtis Yahnke (Roseanne), Ned Yahnke (Pat), Farrell Hanson, Mary Yahnke and Renee Yahnke. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
