It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Ella of Worthington, Minnesota, born in Iona, Minnesota, who passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Rod; her siblings, Esther Krause, Joan Diedrich, Paul and Marvin Halbur; and her grandson Josh Rickey.
She is survived by: her children, Kerry Ella of Jackson, MN, Kevin Ella of Mountain Lake, MN, Sharon Tomlinson (Sam) of Oklahoma City, OK, Roxanne Rickey of Watonga, OK and Adrienne Thorson (Terry) of Glenville, MN; her grandchildren, Jason Ella (Krystle), Spencer Tomlinson (Nishelle), Sydney Tomlinson (Kristen), Tyler Rickey (Allison), Tara Thorson and Emily Thorson; her stepgrandchildren, Sondra Tomlinson (Pete) and Josh Thorson (Angela); and her brothers, Virgil, Ralph and Donald Halbur. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
She was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Mary's CCW and Mission Sewing Group, American Legion Auxiliary, Worthington Hospital Auxiliary, Mobile Meals Coordinator, Christian Women, and RSVP.
