It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Erick Dirks of Worthington, Minnesota, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Erick Dirks and Dorothy Dirks (Baseman); and his wife Avonne Doeden. He is survived by : his children, Debra A. Vogt (Alan), Bruce A. Dirks (Janet) and Barbara Deuel; his grandchildren, Christa Buechler, Laura Ellsworth (Andrew), Jesson Vogt (Casey), Erica Dirks, Brant Dirks, Dwight Deuel, Schuyler Deuel (Bernadette) and Gordon Deuel (Melissa); his great grandchildren, Marissa Bertram (Skyler), Julia, Erick Buechler, Eli, Lydia Ellsworth, Elsa, Monte Vogt, Henry, Hazel Deuel, Aurora, Benjamin, Tirzah Deuel, Ramona and Otis Dirks; and his sisters, Dee Haas and Sandra Anderson of Lenexa, KS..
