He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin H. W. and Elsie Meyer (Asche); his grandfather Brother Dennis Meyer (Laurie Meyer); and his in-laws, Douglas and Lois Hunt.
He is survived by: his aunt Marlys Jones of Rock Rapids, IA; his cousins, James Timmerman (Wendy) of Reading, MN, Sue (Brad), Bonnie Hybertsen (Richard) of Beresford, SD and Alan Timmerman; his stepchildren, Wendy (John), Matthew and Sarah (Dustin); his siblings-in-law, Pam Fletcher (Terry), Michel Hunt (Denise) and Scott Hunt (Donna); and his grandchildren, Katie, Bailey, Blake, Kyndra, Alyssa, Isaac, Emily and Zachariah.
