With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Garrett Meyer of Worthington, Minnesota, who passed away on March 31, 2024 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Garrett Meyer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Meyer and Tena Meyer (Walburg); his son Myron Meyer; and his siblings, Dorothy Wolterstorff (Herb) and Pattricia Reller (George).
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Buysman; his children, Arlis Ruder (Dick) of Worthington, MN, Laura VanderMeulen (Douglas) of Ocheyedan, IA, Curt Meyer (Cindy) of Andover, MN and Kelly Preuss (Paul) of Adrian, MN; his daughter-in-law Clarissa Meyer; and his siblings, Jan Roelofsen (Robert) of Toronto, SD, John Meyer (Carolyn) of Sheldon, IA and Marilyn Pommer (Bernard) of Ellsworth, MN.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
Garrett also taught them the importance of donating time and money to support neighbors, friends, and family. He and Joyce donated many hours to Bibles for Missions in Worthington.
