Jean Ann Watje Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Ann Watje (Worthington, Minnesota), born in Ocheyedan, Iowa, who passed away on December 17, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Howard Smith and Anna Smith (Haack); her husband Fred Watje; her son Richard Watje; and her brother Bill Smith.

She is survived by : her children, Bonnie, Mary, Donna, Glenda, Kathy, Craig and Carol. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and many great grand children, and great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

She did a lot of crocheting of doilies and afghans that were donated to Southwest Crisis Center, Early Risers Kiwanis for Kids and to the Presbyterian rummage sales.
