She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Nels and Gertie Nels; and her husband Jacob Van Hal. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Van Hal (Twilla) of Lakefield, MN, John Van Hal (Cathy) of Mooresville, IN and Patricia Van Hal of New Town, ND.; and her sister Theresa Meendering of Tuscaloosa, AL.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Ecumen Meadows (1801 College Way, Worthington, MN 56187).
