She was predeceased by: her parents, Nate Nelson and Muriel Nelson (Fritz); her husband Marvin Kuhlman; her grandchildren, Richard Austin, Jr., Patrick Austin, Tiffany Kuhlman and Mariah Refsland; her son-in-law Richard Austin; and her siblings, Merle Nelson, Harry Johnson, Pauline Dykstra, Richard Nelson and Sylvia Steuck.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Carpenter (Joseph) of Willmar, Cheryl Thiner (David) of Fulda, Karen Goergen (Alan) of Marshall and Ivan Kuhlman (Tracey) of Ruthton. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
