It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian Lorraine Roos (Worthington, Minnesota), born in Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on July 25, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Lloyd Henry Launder and Lorraine Launder (Springer); her brothers, Lloyd Henry "Bud" Launder II, Robert Keith Launder and Charles Richard "Pete" Launder; and her husband Robert "Bob" Kenneth Roos.
She is survived by: her children, David Roos, Margaret "Peggy" Lund (Gary), Daniel Roos (Laurita), Timothy Roos (Cheryl), John Roos and Andrew Roos (Lori). She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandson.
Among many other examples, she knitted and donated hundreds of stocking caps for newborn babies to the hospital's maternity ward.
