He is survived by : his daughters, Tess Shane and Lisa Shane (Bradley); his grandchildren, Christian Shane, Antonia Vallejo, Ariala Vallejo, Avonta Chavarria, Kaden Hanks, Noah Hanks, Dilchur Kingsang, Jana Obak and Franklin Hindenburg; his sister Mary Shane of Sioux Falls, SD; his sister-in-law Sharon Shane of Mesa, AZ; and his nieces and nephews, Kelly, Shannon, Tyler, Kendall, Emma, Kael, Cody, Easton, Chelsea, Tiffany and Janet.

A memorial service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Dingmann Funeral Home (1545 N McMillan St, Worthington, MN 56187).
