He was predeceased by: his parents, Maureen Bergen and Wilfred Van Bergen; his brother Bill; his niece Kari; and his great-niece Madison.

He is survived by: his siblings, Jane (John Grady), Judy Van Bergen, Bev (Dave Frisch), Darlene (Merlin Teerink), Lana (Lonnie Hazelwood) and Ron Van Bergen (Brenda); his son Scott Van Bergen (Wendy) of Princeton, MN; his grandchildren, Kim Reno of Elk River, MN, Emily Lindberg (Jared) of Princeton, MN and Ryan Van Bergen (Jasmin) of Zimmerman, MN; Jan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Maple Lawn Senior Care Center in his name, 400 NE 7th St., Fulda, MN 56131... for their incredible loving care of our Dad.
