Elsing and Rose Elsing (Smith); his wife Mary Elsing; his brother Robert Elsing; his niece Tammy Hector (Boneschans); his parents-in-law, Frank Gunnink and Gertie Gunnink (Vander Ham); his siblings-in-law, Faye Mesman, Josephine Gunnink, Jane Boneschans, Teddy Gunnink and Johnny Gunnink; and his daughter-in-law Vivian Elsing (Kinnamon).
He is survived by: his children, Merle Elsing (Pat) of Rushmore, Byron Elsing of Rushmore and Evonne Janssen (Russ) of Heron Lake; and his grandchildren, Amanda Sletten (David) of Eden Prairie, MN, Brittany Lentsch (Blake) of Eugene, OR, Justin Heeren (Rachel Wright) of Reno, NV, Brandon Elsing (Lindsey) of Las Vegas, NV, Stephanie Elsing of Las Vegas, NV, Nicole Elsing of Sibley, IA and JaDee Janssen of Brewster, MN. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
