She was predeceased by: her father Gerald Christensen; her brother Bruce Christensen; and her close friend Dick Saylor. She is survived by: her children, Michael Jackson (Angela), Sally Jackson and Stephanie Saylor-Steineck (Liam); her grandchildren, John Skovbekk (Rochelle), Tommy Jackson, Ellise Jackson and Ellie Jackson; her great grandchild Flora; her sisters, Trisha Swanson (Joel) and Linda Armstrong (Charley); and her sister-in-law Deb Christensen. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Care (1004 Cloquet Ave, Cloquet, MN 55720). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fellowship Continuing Afterward.
Candy had a deep love for flowers, but to honor her heart for giving, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
