She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Lenz and Luella Lenz (Karver); her husband Raymond "Ray" Schmidt; and her daughter Nancy (Nevin Lenz). She is survived by: her children, Susan Leisen (Dan), Daniel Schmidt (Cheryl Brandner) of Fountain, MN and Luan Ruesink (John Fenske) of Spring Valley, MN.; her grandchildren, Sara Leisen, Kyle Leisen, Nate Armstrong and Tyler Ruesink; her great grandchild Everett Ruesink; her sister Ann Brandt of Grand Meadow, MN; and her sister-in-law Bernice Stender of Blooming Prairie. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (254 S Main St, Wykoff, MN 55990). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
