He is survived by: his wife Karen Welander; his children, Bill Welander (Melissa) and Rebecca Welander; his grandson Jackson Welander; his brothers, Gerald Welander (Patricia) and James Welander; and his sister-in-law Kathy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
