He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Thacker. He is survived by: his father Vernon Thacker; his wife Delores; his children, Nichlaus Thacker (Katie) and Jessica Grindeland (Jake); his grandchildren, Henry, Hazel, Mahlina, Gordon and Lilliana; and his brother Jeff Thacker (Becky). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mueller Memorial-Parkway (835 Johnson Pkwy, St Paul, MN 55106). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 1:45 PM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
