James Walter Yoss Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of James Walter Yoss of Adrian, Missouri is shared. James, born on January 19, 1936, passed away on September 1, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Walter Yoss to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter W. Yoss and Ella C. Yoss (Stevener); his wife Carolyn June Asman; his sister Lois Yoss; and his great grandchild Halston Scott.

He is survived by: his children, Kari Scott (Brent), Kip Yoss (Susan) and Kristi Cumpton; his grandchildren, Drew Scott (Makyna), Aaron, Ian Yoss, Paige and Adam Cumpton; his great grandchildren, Breelyn and Lachlan Scott; and his brother Howard Yoss. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Adrian United Methodist Church (202 E Main St, Adrian, MO 64720). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
