She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer L. Foote and Blanche F. Foote (Lawson); her husband Elden Carroll; her brothers, Donald and Wallace Foote; and her grandson Ashley Blane Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Mitchell (Ella Mae) of Butler, MO, Gary Mitchell of Adrian and LeaAnn West of Adrian, MO; her grandchildren, Lindsey Chasteen (Chris), Lance Mitchell, Dustin Mitchell (Maggie) and Melissa Gerke (John); her great grandchildren, Blair Mitchell, Piper Becchina, Cadence, Thomas, Howie, Loretta Gerke, Henry, Louie and Janey Mitchell; and her nieces, Jeanette Gwin and Cindy Drury.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Atkinson Funeral Home - Adrian (142 E Main St, Adrian, MO 64720). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Crescent Hill Cemetery (14458 NW County Rd 1001, Adrian, MO 64720).
