Martha June Cumpton Obituary
We announce the death of Martha June Cumpton of Adrian, Missouri, who passed away on August 29, 2026, at the age of 90. Martha will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Vogeler and Essie Vogeler (Messenger); her siblings, Orie, Arthur, Amos, Gladys and Dorothy; her husband Harold Kenneth Cumpton; and her son Billy Joe.
She is survived by: her children, Martha Stocklaufer (Jim), Harold (Sharon), Roger (Darlene), Mikel (Patsy) and Dale (Leann); her daughter-in-law Cheryl; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Wilson. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mullinax Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (10 S High St, Butler, MO 64730). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Altona Baptist Church or Adrian Optimist.
