He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Rayburn Adkins and Evelyn Hinkle Barker (Dwight). He is survived by: his son Kevin Adkins (Sarah) of Dexter; his stepsons, Alan Tad Long (Denise) of Jackson, MO and Randy Brant of Clarksville, TN; and his sister Debbie Barnhouse of Cape Girardeau. He is also survived by two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
