Lois leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Lois’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Lois will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Hattie Mae Ritchey Porter; and her siblings, Clyde, Raymond, Charles Porter, Ethel Cemows, Thelma Edminaston and Mary Hoggard.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Barrett (Judy) of Foley and Wanda Woodfin (Jim) of Advance; and her sister Evelyn Bay of Foley. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, many more nieces, nephews and close friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morgan Funeral Chapel (602 Vine St, Advance, MO 63730). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at the Berrong Cemetery (25 State Hwy E, Zalma, MO 63787).
