With sadness, we share the passing of Reba F. Strayhorn of Advance, Missouri. Reba, born on October 30, 1939, passed away on September 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Reba for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Reba’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Maxine and Jesse Spence; husband: Harrell L. Strayhorn Sr.; son: Harrell Jr.; daughter: Diana Lawson; step grandsons: Charles Lawson III (Patty) and Daniel Lawson (Janae); great-great-grandchildren: Mattie Anscomb, Rosie Lawson, Charlie Lawson, Brody Lawson and Baylee Lawson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Morgan Funeral Chapel (602 Vine St, Advance, MO 63730). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Cemetery (6300 State Rte 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016).
