It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alan Eckert of Affton, Missouri, who passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Eckert and Ginnie Eckert; his brother Jim Eckert; his sister-in-law Debbie; and his niece Elizabeth Eckert.

He is survived by: his child Affton; his wife Debbie of Affton's Dairy Queen; his children, Katie and Kevin; his daughter-in-law Holly; his grandchildren, Penny and Jack; and his siblings, Nancy Willard (Dave), Larry (Peggy), Dennis (Cheri) and Diane Liebsch (Rich). He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews, dozens of cousins, neighbors, coworkers, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Al's honor may be made the American Diabetes Association or to the Aftton Education Foundation.
