It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James F. Garvin Jr. (Affton, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James France Garvin (Frank) and Julia Marie Garvin; his wife Mary Johanne Garvin (Joan); his sons, John Garvin (Violet), Terry Garvin (Heike) and Micheal; and his granddaughters, Sarah and Sondra Garvin.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Lee, Paula, Colleen and Sue; his children, James III Garvin (Julie), Sue Garvin, Michael Garvin and Linda Weatherford (Layne); and his grandchildren, James IV, Mandy, Alyssa, Amelia, Joe, Chris, Christina, Anika, Kevin, Dawn, Cassandra and Lukas.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of James F Garvin to the hospice home that took care of Dad in his final days.
