She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Rogers and Hazel Rogers (Priebe); her stepfather Lew Calvert; her husband Leon Hitchings; her brother Gene Rogers; her sister-in-law Eldora Rogers; her stepsisters, Elta Heirleen and Dolores "Tiny" Woodhead; and her cousin Helen Platter.
She is survived by: her sons, Roger Hitchings (Cathy) and Ron Hitchings (Pam); her grandchildren, Ron Hitchings, Jr. (Whitney) and Rhanda Shreve (Roger); and her great grandchildren, C. J. Hitchings, Tyler Hitchings, Carter Shreve and Hadlee Shreve.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
