He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Palone and Pauline Palone (Edwards); his wife Deanna Betebenner; his son Richard Mark Palone; his sister Virlinda Trimble (Ed); his siblings-in-law, Rose Powell (CL), JoAnn Betebenner, Betty Epperson (John), Mary Frances Betebenner and Claude; his niece Ada; his brothers-in-law, Rod, Jon, Larry and Bob Betebenner; his parents-in-law, Opal and Claude "Duck" Betebenner; Shawna A. Palone.

He is survived by: his children, Wade L. Palone and Lisa D. Passley (Danny); his grandchildren, Anna Passley, Cheyann Meador (Jonathan) and Tucker Palone (Samantha); his great grandchildren, Corbyn, Berklee, Markus Palone and Wren Meador; his sister Catherine "Susie" Rosser; and his son-in-law Danny. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
