He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilmer Gillespie and Marie Edith Gillespie (Wooderson); and his brother Walter Gillespie. He is survived by : his children, Scott Gillespie (Jennifer), Joe Gillespie (Susan) and Jennifer Walker (Chad); his stepdaughter Alesha Furnell; his stepgrandson Coah Furnell of Arizona; and his grandchildren, Beau, Seth, Raven and Saige Gillespie.
