With sadness, we share the passing of Glenda Barnes of Albany, Missouri. Glenda, born on February 18, 1940, passed away on June 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris W. Groth and Florence E. Groth (Corderman); her husband Leo L. Barnes; her brothers, William and Richard Groth; her son-in-law Harold Ellis; and her nephews, Randy Groth and Bob Maier.
She is survived by: her sister Jean Rooney of Rosalie, NE; her children, Beth Ellis of Weatherby, MO, Kenneth Barnes (Alicia) of Albany, MO and Daniel Barnes (Chrissy); and her grandchildren, Jeremy Ellis (Vickey), Jennifer Meek (Shawn), Joanna Stretch (Jeff), Justin Ellis (Brandi), Megan Scheib (Michael), Hailey Barnes, Christopher Barnes (Baylee), Ryan Barnes (Monica), Kyle Barnes (Elaine) and Tyler Barnes (Gabby). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
