He was predeceased by : his parents, Gordon Manring and Pat Manring (Norman) of Albany, MO.; and his sister Mary McConkey. He is survived by : his former life partner Beverly Holmes of Albany; his daughters, Meredith Manville (Nathan) of Seattle, WA and Lauren Hoppins (Anthony) of Lincoln, NE.; his close friend Dawn Piper; his siblings, Edward (Nancy Sue) of Albany, MO, Bill of Saint Joseph, MO, Maurice (Michele McFadden) of Columbus, Ohio, Marvin (Mary Anne) of Stockton, MO, Nancy Holman of Columbia, MO and Sally Lykins (Eric) of Lee's Summit, MO; and his brother-in-law Richard McConkey of Albany. He is also survived by ten nieces & nephews and, eight great nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials for the benefit of Michael J Fox Foundation may be made in care of Roberson-Polley Funeral Home.
