He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lester "Jimmy" and Dona Lee Humbert Long; his wife Mary; his brothers, Tom and John Long; his sister-in-law Sharon Long; and his nephew Jeremy Long.

He is survived by: his sons, Buddy Russ, Ronn Lee and Ryan Lynn; his great great grandchildren, Russ (Beth) of Lockwood, Ronn (Karen) of Wishart and Ryan (Lori) of Aldrich; his grandchildren, Erica Long, Andy, Rusta Morrow, Rachel Long, Rylan, Lexi Long, Dustin Dickerson, Kyle, Lauren Long, Wyatt Long, Clay, Faith Long and Cole Long; his great grandchildren, Taylar, Josie, Kohlton and Rory Morrow; his grandchildren, Casen Long and Conan Long; his great great grandchild Wylder Simpson; his brother Joe Long of Aldrich; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Long and Anita Long Seymour. He is also survived by his three sons and daughters-in-law, nine grandchildren and four spouses, six great-grandchildren.
