David Wayne Melton Obituary
We bid farewell to David Wayne Melton of Aldrich, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 21, 2025 at the age of 68. David Wayne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberta Melton (Huchteman) and Wayne Melton; and his parents-in-law, Gene and Allowee Baker. He is survived by: his wife Ronda Melton; his daughters, Sonja Keathley (Matthew) of Aldrich, MO and Alyssa White (A. J.) of Greenfield, MO; his sisters, Cathy Clift of Aldrich, MO and Vicki Straszweski of Georgia; and his grandchildren, Landon Keathley, Brayden Keathley, Sadie White, Ben Keathley (Clancy) and Marcus Keathley (Emily). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church of Dadeville (130 S Clompton St, Dadeville, MO 65635). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center or to the Dadeville School Booster Club.
