He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sander and Frieda Sander (Wagner); his grandfathers, Herman Wagner, Sr. and John Sander; and his sisters, Dorthy Sander and Mildred Steffens.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sander; his children, Melinda Means (Perry) of Shawnee, KS and Murray (Dana) of Alma; and his grandchildren, Macy Ogle (Christopher) of Berryton, KS, Bryan Sander (Ashton) of Alma and Molly Rehkop (Darin) of Alma. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to Lutheran Hour Ministries or Trinity Lutheran School in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.
