He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Barton and Lois Barton (Waggoner). He is survived by: his wife Sandy Walker; his stepchildren, Cammie (Scott) of West Plains and Lonnie (Debrah) of Jamesville, Wisconsin; his siblings, Danny (Kay) of Nixa, Missouri and Melba (Randy) of West Plains, Missouri; and his sister-in-law Debbie of Alton. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri (827 Chestnut St, Thayer, MO 65791). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
