With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Howard Dethrow of Alton, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 4, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Sadie Dethrow (Brewer); and his wife Linda Dethrow. He is survived by: his father Orville Dethrow; his daughter Janet Bennett (Clifton) of Couch, Missouri; his granddaughters, Andrea Nicholson (Dennis) of Couch and Krystal Wiersma (Brian) of Cumming, Georgia; and his great grandchildren, Dalton, Carter Nicholson, Emilynn and Madalynn Wiersma. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Memorial contributions can be made in lieu of flowers to The Gideons International or Three Rivers Hospice.
