He is survived by: his wife Maurine Sherrill; his children, Donna Sherrill, Ernest Sherrill, Jr. (Alma), Jennifer Lutes (Joseph), Zack Haddock and Trudy Burrows (Billy); and his siblings, Tammy Stark, Bonnie Zubieh (Ken) and R. C. Moore, Jr.. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
