With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gary Pope of Anderson, Missouri, born in Amarillo, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Pope and Zella Pope; and his siblings, Jimmy, Troy (Shorty), Helen and Patsy.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Pope of Anderson, Missouri; his daughter Holly; his son-in-law Keith Roberson of Bridgeport, Texas; his children, Carl Hendrickson of Yakima, Washington, Angela Mayfield of Festus, Missouri and Adam; his daughter-in-law Jamie Mayfield of Mount Vernon, Missouri; his great-nephew Gary Wayne Floyd Harrison (Bo) of Eugene, Oregan; and his grandchildren, D. J., Janie, Bud, Jade, Austin, Trent, Brennon, Alan, Andrew and Katie. He is also survived by many other family and friends, especially his church family.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Patterson Heights Baptist Church.
