Merlin leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Merlin’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Merlin will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Wood and Gurtrude Wood; his wife Kathy Wood; his son Michael; and his daughter-in-law Debra Wood.
He is survived by: his daughter JoAnna Wood; his grandchildren, Kayla Langford (Clayton) and Jacob Wood; and his great grandchildren, Bria and Sullivan Langford. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Pineville Christian Church (803 Main St, Pineville, MO 64856).
