He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Rutter and Opal Rutter (Griggs); his grandson Marcus; and his brothers, Kenneth "Bud" Rutter, William "Bill" Rutter, James "Jim" Rutter, Allen "Al", Clifton "Cliff" Rutter, Roger Dale Rutter and Paul Everett Rutter.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Cody, Colten, Hailey, Madison, Anna, Delton, Charley Kate and Sophia; his great grandchildren, Alayna, Havannah, Athena, Marcus Wade and Talon "Rosie"; and his sister Virginia "Jenny" Merla Wrapps of Swansea, IL. He is also survived by loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cole Family Funeral Home (210 E Reynolds St, Ironton, MO 63650). A masonic service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
