With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charlene Benbow of Appleton City, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Myers and Goldie Myers (Jones); her son John Benbow; her siblings, Ruby Myers and Nelson Myers; and her sister-in-law Lois Myers.
She is survived by: her husband JD Benbow; her daughter Donna Frasher (Thomas Frasher); her grandchildren, Joshua Frasher (Payton Lawhead) and Laura Frasher (Brian Brim); and her great grandchild Autumn Brim.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hill & Son Funeral Home (213 W 6th St, Appleton City, MO 64724). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at the Appleton City Cemetery (13500 NW 1000 Rd, Appleton City, MO 64724).
