She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Shaffer and Ruth Shaffer (Foster); and her brothers, Frank "Junior" Shaffer, Dewayne Shaffer and Phillip.

She is survived by : her sister-in-law Sue; her husband Lonnie Elmore Shepard; her children, Michell Lee Ortmeyer (Michael) of Warrensburg, MO, Lorie Lorena Ortmeyer (Mark) of Saint Clair, MO, Criste Marie Shepard of Savannah, MO and Leon Eli Shepard (Pamela) of Chicago, IL; her grandchildren, Nichole Hansen, Chelsey Hay (Adam), Miranda Ortmeyer-Born (Zachary), Megan Ortmeyer, Kyle Ortmeyer, Jeremy Ortmeyer, Amber Ortmeyer, Zoe Shepard, Ramsey Shepard and Oakley Shepard; her great grandchild Hunter; her grandchildren, Mckenna, Xander, Addilyn and Zane; and her siblings, Alberta Ruth Huddleston, Phyllis Smith, Dean Shaffer (Sue), David Shaffer, Dale Shaffer and Mitchell Shaffer (Ruth). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
